Account Manager

Tangent Agency is a growing creative agency looking for an established Account Manager to join the team and work across a truly exciting and ever-growing global client portfolio. The successful candidate will be culturally connected, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and an excellent communicator who has experience building relationships and providing strategic advice to clients. While the role is predominantly focused on existing clients, 10-20% of your time will be spent developing new business and supporting pitches.

Experience in working across multiple creative disciplines is a must, as well as the ability to balance multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Worked with a wide portfolio of companies
  • Previous experience across digital, creative, social and experiential / tradeshows
  • Experience working through strategy with clients in order to write briefs
  • Managed and developed Account Executives
  • Strong pitch development and delivery
  • Great organisational skills
  • Managed budgets, timeframes and production
  • Be commercially minded, always looking for opportunities, and be driven by success
  • Feel confident offering strategic consultancy to clients to ensure the best possible work is created
  • Be personable and have a strong track record of managing and building client relationships.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the client relationship, from problem solving to responding to requests
  • Taking client briefs and where required, supporting the Account Director with drafting creative briefs
  • Presenting and selling in creative work
  • Ensuring deadlines and budgets are met while communicating and seeking approval of any changes to these
  • Guiding the team forward to project completion and keeping the client informed of project developments
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
